TiME’s land purchase allowed for the expansion ofthe Serra Bonita Reserve (SBR) in Brazil’s most endangered biome and the world’s second-most threatened hotspot. In addition to protecting many threatened species, this expansion will ensure the survival of predators that require large, unbroken territories, like the Puma (Puma concolor) and the Harpy Eagle (Harpia harpyja).
