You donated and this is what happened. Efrain Cepeda from Fundación de Conservación Jocotoco thanks you for saving land in the Choco Forest in Ecuador. This is the message we have received from him.
At the end of 2022, we’ve put all our efforts into saving the Chocó Forest in Ecuador. You responded and got us over the $50,000 we needed!
We already have your votes and money and are working with the Fundación Jocotoco to finish buying the land and save it forever.
We are grateful to you, TIME donors and volunteers, today and always. And here is a very special thank-you message from Efrain Cepeda, the expansion director of TiME’s partner organization in Ecuador, Fundación de Conservación Jocotoco recorded in the Canandé reserve.
In his message, Efrain Cepeda highlights the positive impact of our collaboration, and explains why is it so important to protect this area. Efrain Cepeda thanks you for saving land in the Choco in this video:
Saving land in the Choco is a great investment
“This is our largest reserve, and we are currently conserving 10,275 hectares of this forest. It is considered a top priority region for conservation due to its incredible biodiversity and the threats it faces.
In addition, this strengthens our commitment to conserve and investigate what remains of this wonderful forest.
We thank TiME · This is My Earth and its donors for supporting our conservation efforts in this area. Your valuable contribution allows us to protect the home of thousands of species of plants and animals. This biodiversity do not exist anywhere else on the planet.“
The Fundación Jocotoco is also working with us in the Tapichalaca Reserve. Please help us save this area with your donations and votes.
